Benefit Watt's Up Highlighter

I'm longing for the summer...During this time of year my face looks dull and pale, not a nice picture, right? That's why I must use some tricks to have a healthy, natural glow and the perfect makeup product for achieving this look is a highlighter. In my opinion, every woman should have one in her makeup bag.

There are lots of highlighters on the market, having different shades and different textures: liquid, powder, creamy. When choosing the shade is better to think about your skin undertone. For example if you have a darker skin, the pink highlighters will not give you a nice look. But for a woman with a fair skin, pink highlighters are a good option. It is best to test more highlighters in different lights in order to choose the perfect one.

Today I will tell you about mine. 

 Benefit Watt's Up has been in my makeup bag for quite a while!

First I had in mind to buy Benefit High Beam (after reading lots of reviews), but it was unavailable. The lady at the Sephora counter showed me the Benefit Watt's Up as being the newest one from Benefit (at the beginning of 2012...I know it's 2013, but I wasn't blogging when I bought it). Being Christmas Eve, I was determined to leave the shop with a highlighter in my bag! So, Benefit Watt's has been in my makeup bag for quite a while.

Swatch: Benefit Watt's Up highlighter (blended, artificial lighting)

My opinion:

It is a gorgeous shimmered champagne shade that gives you a radiant, beautiful lit-from-within glow when blended.

It comes in a stick form, thus not being messy as a liquid highlighter, and the consistency is creamy without being greasy. It has a sponge applicator, but I don't ever use it, personally I prefer blending with my fingertips. I apply a small amount on the top of my cheeks and under the brow bone, then I blend till I get a luminous, subtle healthy sheen. It can also be applied on the nose, on the cupid bow, forehead and in the inner corner of the eyes. The staying power is great.

Last but not least, it will last you a long, long time!

Stralucirea ta perfecta! Benefit Watt's Up - opinie si poze

Mi-e dor de vara! In perioada aceasta a anului fata mea arata palida si fara stralucire, o imagine nu prea placuta, asa-i? Pentru a avea o stralucire naturala si sanatoasa, sunt nevoita sa folosesc cateva trucuri, iar produsul ideal pentru realizarea acestui lucru este un highlighter/iluminator. In opinia mea, fiecare femeie ar trebui sa aiba unul in gentuta cu produse de makeup!

Exista o multitudine de iluminatoare pe piata, cu nuante diferite, precum si texturi diferite: lichide, pudra, crema. Atunci cand alegeti nuanta, e bine sa aveti in vedere subtonul pielii. De exemplu, daca aveti ten/subton inchis, un highlighter de culoare roz nu va va avantaja. In schimb, daca aveti piele deschisa la culoare, iluminatorul roz este o alegere buna. Pentru a-l alege pe cel potrivit, este indicat sa testati mai multe iluminatoare in diverse surse de lumina.

Benefit Watt's Up se afla in gentuta cu cosmetice de mult timp.

Initial, doream sa cumpar Benefit High Beam (dupa ce citisem o multime de review-uri pe net), dar nu era disponibil in magazin. Vanzatoarea mi-a prezentat atunci Benefit Watt's Up, ca fiind ultima noutate in materie de iluminatoare de la Benefit (asta se intampla la inceputul lui 2012...stiu, suntem in 2013, dar pe atunci nu aveam blog asa ca scriu acum despre el). Fiind Ajunul Craciunului, eram hotarata sa plec cu un highlighter in poseta!

Un highlighter subtil/diafan

Ce face:

Acest highlighter cu o textura cremoasa spre pudra lumineaza fata oferind o stralucire delicata superba de culoarea sampaniei ((alta idee de traducere nu-mi vine acum in minte). Aplicarea sa uniforma si stralucirea delicata fac orice ten sa devina “wow”.

Mod de folosire:

- Aplicati-l pe obraji si sub sprancene, apoi estompati cu buretelul pentru o stralucire perfecta.

- Poate fi aplicat atat pe fata nemachiata, cat si peste machiaj.

Parerea mea:

Este o nuanta superba de sampanie cu un luciu fin, ce ofera o stralucire frumoasa, naturala cand este intinsa uniform pe piele.

Este sub forma de stick, de aceea nu da atatea batai de cap caun highlighter lichid, iar consistenta este cremoasa, fara a fi grasa. Are in dotare un aplicator de burete, pe care eu nu-l folosesc niciodata, prefer sa il intind cu a degetelor. Aplic o cantitate mica pe pometi si sub sprancene, apoi intind pana cand obtin o stralucire sanatoasa, subtila. Poate fi aplicat si pe nas, deasupra buzei superioare, frunte si in coltul intern al ochilor. Rezista mult timp pe piele.

Nu in ultimul rand, va va tine mult, mult timp deoarece e suficient sa aplicati foarte putin produs!
